Aviation

Aircraft fire protection is a public safety issue.

This includes airports, aerodromes, heliports,  aircraft hangar, helidecks, heli stations, etc. which are at at a fire risk due to the water-immiscible flammable liquids inducing Class B – hydrocarbon fires, such as kerosene, gasoline, landing gear, engine, fuel line fire.

For that reason, aviation foam concentrates have to comply with ICAO standards internationally (International Civil Aviation Organization), as well as an acceptance by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the United States.

Our K-Foam Aviation concentrate is designed for placement within the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting vehicle.

Small fires, which can’t be reached by the aircraft vehicle, can be put out with a fire hand line combined with a proportioning device.

Since in airport emergencies, every minute counts, the K-Foam Aviation adheres to vertical surfaces to cool aircraft parts such as the fuselage and the body allowing passenger evacuation.

The K-Foam Aviation works rapidly over the fuel spill, coating the fuel and cutting off oxygen supply in order to extinguish aircraft fire in a few minutes and preventing reignition.

Also, the K-Foam Aviation is 100% fluorine-free, eco-friendly foam for aviation fire safety application.

Our product is recognized and approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) level B, and International Maritime Organization (IMO).
